Banyan Park, located in the scenic hills of South Ventura County, was built in 1967 as the first park development for Conejo Recreation & Park District. The project involved a park expansion that would increase size & supply modern park infrastructure.
Jordan Crystal provided design services & assembled plans for the recent park expansion constructed in 2017. The park expansion would provide the community with passive recreational opportunities and additional open space that was essential to the surrounding community. In addition to the expansion, upgrades to the infrastructure were necessary. Through design services, the proposed infrastructure & irrigation upgrades would eliminate water waste and maximize efficiency in water use. Turf reduction would also support an efficient water use program. Additionally, the park expansion served as a connection and educational opportunity for the neighboring Banyan Elementary School.
